Managing campaigns takes time and effort. Whether you are setting up a new calling campaign or reviewing an older one, CallHub gives you two features to make your work easier: Campaign Drafts and Campaign Archiving.
With Campaign Drafts, you can start building a campaign, stop midway, and pick up right where you left off — without losing any of your work. With Campaign Archiving, you can tidy up your campaigns list by moving older or finished campaigns out of your main view, so you always see what matters most.
Why We Have This
Campaign Drafts
Setting up a campaign isn't always a one-sitting task. You may need to check with a teammate, gather your script, or simply step away. In the past, leaving the campaign creation flow mid-way meant losing your progress and starting over.
Campaign Drafts solves this. The system automatically saves your work as you go, so you never have to worry about losing your progress. When you come back, you can continue from the exact step you left off.
Campaign Archiving
Over time, your campaigns list can fill up with completed, old, or inactive campaigns. Scrolling through a long list to find the campaign you actually need wastes time and causes confusion.
Campaign Archiving lets you move campaigns you no longer actively use into a separate archive. Your main campaigns view stays clean and focused, while your archived campaigns remain safely accessible whenever you need them.
How It Works
Campaign Drafts
Auto-saving your progress
When you start creating a campaign and add content — such as a question to your script — CallHub automatically saves your work. You will see a status message at the bottom of the screen that says "Saved just now", so you always know your progress is safe.
Returning to a draft
When you come back to a saved draft after some time, CallHub will show you a message like:
You will land on the first step of the campaign creation flow, and all your previous progress will be intact.
Seeing your drafts in the campaigns list
All your saved drafts appear in the main Campaigns listing page with a Draft status label. You can filter the list to show only draft campaigns, making it easy to find and continue your work.
Continuing or discarding a draft
If you click "Create from Scratch" on the home page and you already have a saved draft, CallHub will show you a prompt asking what you want to do:
- Continue with Draft — picks up from where you left off
- Start from Scratch — discards the draft and begins fresh
Deleting a draft
If you want to remove a draft entirely, you can delete it from the campaigns list. Keep in mind:
- Drafts can only be deleted one at a time.
- Drafts cannot be archived — only active campaigns can be archived.
Campaign Archiving
Archiving a campaign
You can archive one campaign or multiple campaigns at once. To archive, select the campaign(s) from the list and choose the Archive option from the actions menu.
A few things to keep in mind before archiving:
- You cannot archive a campaign that is currently running. Stop the campaign first, then archive it. If you try to archive a running campaign, the Archive option will be greyed out with a tooltip that says: "Stop the campaign to Archive."
- Draft campaigns are excluded from archiving. If you try to bulk-archive a set of campaigns that includes drafts, the drafts will be skipped, and you will see a message like: "(n) campaigns were not archived as they were in Draft."
Undoing an archive
Made a mistake? Right after archiving a campaign, you will see an option to undo the action. Use it quickly if you archived something by mistake.
Viewing archived campaigns
Your archived campaigns are not deleted — they are moved to a separate Archive view. You can access this view from the campaigns section to find and review any archived campaign and its data whenever you need it.
Unarchiving a campaign
If you want to bring a campaign back to your main list, open the archived campaign and click Unarchive. You will see a confirmation message: "Campaign Unarchived." You will stay on the Archive page — you can navigate back to the main campaigns list from there.
Auto-archiving after one year
CallHub automatically archives campaigns that have been ended for more than one year. When this happens, you will receive a notification letting you know which campaigns have been auto-archived. You can still view these campaigns and access all their data in the Archive view at any time.
