A detailed guide on how to send messages for a Peer to Peer Texting campaign from your agent console.
Once you have set up a Peer to Peer texting campaign, the next step is sending messages to your contacts, i.e., having real-time conversations with them and recording data based on responses. All this needs to be done from the agent console. Since the conversation is one-to-one, it is often termed SMS banking or Text Banking.
You must log in to the agent console, click on JOIN to join the campaign, and then choose the "Start Texting" option. When agents join the campaign, they are presented with the 100 contacts assigned from the contact pool under the "Pending" tab. Once the initial message is sent to all 100 contacts, another 100 contacts are assigned automatically. Agents can take as many contacts from the pool in batches of 100.
As and when you send the initial messages, the conversation will appear in the "Chats" tab.
Once you have sent messages to all the contacts in the list, you may navigate to "Chats" and Respond to the contacts who have replied to your messages.
Here, if the campaign manager has anticipated specific responses and added "Saved Replies," they can be used while sending the messages to the contacts by clicking on the Saved replies option on the text editor as in the below image.
You can click on the replies added under Saved Replies to append them to the text editor and send them to the contacts.
The agent can mark the conversation as Completed once they send messages.
You may choose the Opt-out option in case of any contact who doesn't want to receive messages. By clicking on Opt-out, you may choose whether or not to send an acknowledgment that the contact will be added to the DNC list and will not be called or messaged again through your campaigns.
