Increase pickup rates for trusted callers. SHAKEN/STIR is compliance introduced by the FCC to reduce unwanted robocalls and caller ID spoofing.
Want your calls to show as verified, so more people pick up? Register your organization for SHAKEN/STIR in CallHub by submitting a few details about it. CallHub sends them to the carriers, and the carriers assign attestation levels to your account once they verify them. This article is for account owners and compliance managers who make calls in CallHub.
Why register for SHAKEN/STIR
SHAKEN/STIR is a compliance requirement introduced by the FCC to reduce unwanted robocalls and caller ID spoofing. Registering gives you:
Verified Caller IDs. The Caller IDs you use in your campaigns are tagged as verified, which increases pickup rates for trusted callers.
Trust in your business. Contacts are more likely to answer, and illegal entities cannot spoof your calls.
Compliance with telecom regulations. The carriers verify the details you submit, so you can use verified Caller IDs to make calls over the network.
For the background, see Understand SHAKEN/STIR and attestation levels for your CallHub calls.
