CNAM is also known as the Caller ID Name. CNAM feature in a telephone network helps identify an incoming caller by a personal or business name associated with the originating phone number.
CNAM can be registered with a Business or an Individual. However, it should have a name of up to 15 characters. CNAMs should begin with letters and can only contain letters, numbers, commas, and spaces.
CallHub has allowed users to register for a CNAM while setting up STIR/SHAKEN on their accounts. However, this applies only to US numbers.
Although a section of Canadian numbers can be identified with the number lookups, we cannot guarantee this feature for Canadian numbers, as the carriers do not support this feature on their network.
