Want to call and text your Salesforce leads and contacts without exporting a single CSV? Connect Salesforce to CallHub once, and you can import your Salesforce Campaign members as CallHub contact lists, then have every call and text logged back to the record in Salesforce. This article is for campaign managers whose team works in Salesforce.
If Salesforce is your system of record, connecting it to CallHub means:
You skip manual list uploads. Salesforce Campaign members import directly as CallHub contact lists, with Leads and Contacts mapped separately.
You keep one record of every conversation. Call outcomes, notes, and messages sync back to Salesforce, so nobody checking a lead there misses what your agents did.
You stay in control of your lists. You can keep imported lists refreshed automatically and honor Do Not Call and Do Not Text flags at import. See Keep Salesforce contact lists up to date and honor opt-outs.
Before you start
- You need a Salesforce account with the Standard User or System Administrator role.
- In Salesforce, create a Campaign and add the leads or contacts you want to reach as members. CallHub imports Salesforce Campaigns, not raw lists.
- You need a CallHub account with permission to manage integrations.
- Connecting, mapping fields, and importing your first Campaign takes about 10 minutes.
⚠ One Salesforce account can connect to at most 5 CallHub accounts. If you connect a sixth, the existing connections are disconnected. Why: Salesforce enforces this limit per account, and it sends a notification email each time a new CallHub account connects, so watch for unexpected ones.
Connect your Salesforce account
- In your CallHub account, go to Integrations.
- In the Salesforce section, click Connect.
-
In the popup window, log in with your Salesforce ID and password to authorize CallHub. Log in through the popup and the two accounts are linked.
Map your fields
-
Map the CallHub contact fields to your Salesforce fields. You map fields for Leads and Contacts separately.
- Set your preference for importing Do Not Call (DNC) contacts, if you want Salesforce flags respected at import. Leads and Contacts each get their own mapping.
Import a Salesforce Campaign
- Go to the Import tab in the Salesforce integration.
-
Click the text box and select the Salesforce Campaign you want to import.
- (Optional) Tick the Auto-Sync checkbox to keep this list refreshed automatically. See Keep Salesforce contact lists up to date and honor opt-outs for how it works.
- Click Import. Only Campaigns with members can be imported.
Notes & limits
ⓘ Contacts must be members of a Salesforce Campaign to import. If a lead or contact is missing in CallHub, check that they were added to the Campaign in Salesforce.
ⓘ If you connected Salesforce before the most recent integration updates, disconnect and reconnect the integration so the changes take effect.
✓ Tick Auto-Sync at import time for any list you'll use over several days. You won't need to press Import again after every Salesforce update.
