You may sometimes see charges on your CallHub account even when no campaigns are active. These charges can result from various services and features that incur costs outside of active campaigns. Understanding these scenarios can help you manage your account efficiently and avoid unexpected deductions.
Common Reasons for Charges
-
Rental of Numbers
Renting numbers such as call center numbers, texting numbers, shortcodes, adaptive texting blocks, dynamic caller ID blocks, or dial-in numbers incurs rental charges. These charges apply regardless of campaign activity and can be reviewed on the Numbers page.
-
Incoming Calls and Messages
Charges apply for incoming calls and messages based on inbound pricing. Additionally, sending test messages or making test calls after creating campaigns are chargeable activities.
-
Number Verification
When adding your own validated number in the Numbers section, a verification call is made to confirm the number's validity. This process deducts credits from your account. -
Recording Audio
Utilizing the media section to record audio or celebrity recordings initiates a call, leading to credit deductions from your account.
Well, that's how you can be charged even though you are not running any campaign.
Manage your credits wisely!
💡 Tip: To avoid charges from rented numbers and incoming calls/messages, enable Auto-Unrent. Go to the Numbers section and set an inactivity period. Numbers will automatically be unrented once they’re unused for that duration.
