Want to send more texts per hour without overloading a single number — and keep your campaign running even if a carrier flags one of your numbers? The Adaptive Texting Block lets you rent multiple numbers across different area codes, spread your sending across them, and automatically replace any number that gets filtered.
Before you start
⚠ Not available for US messaging. The Adaptive Texting Block cannot be used to text US contacts. For US messaging, register for 10DLC or use a Toll-Free number instead.
- This feature applies to Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Texting campaigns.
- Know the area codes you want to text from — matching your contacts' area codes keeps your outreach looking local.
- Each rented number supports a set messages-per-hour rate, so your total outreach rate scales with the number of numbers you rent. For example, two Toronto (416) numbers at 3,600 messages/hour each give you 7,200 messages/hour.
What the Adaptive Texting Block does
- Sends more messages at once — Renting multiple numbers across area codes spreads your volume, so no single number is overloaded.
- Gives you control over each number — Pause a number to temporarily stop it from sending, and reactivate it whenever you're ready.
- Automatically replaces filtered numbers — If a carrier flags one of your numbers as spam, the block rents a new number from the same area code on its own, so your outreach rate doesn't drop.
Set up the Adaptive Texting Block
- When creating the block, choose one of two options:
- Rent Now — rent numbers immediately.
- Rent Later — create the block now and rent numbers when you're ready to start sending.
- If you chose Rent Now, select the area code you want to use.
- Set the outreach rate — the number of messages per hour for that area.
- Confirm — the numbers are rented immediately and added to the block.
If you chose Rent Later, return to the block when you're ready and rent numbers the same way.
Manage your numbers
- Pause a number to temporarily stop it from sending messages.
- Reactivate a paused number to resume sending.
- Filtered numbers are detected automatically. Carriers may filter a number for reasons such as messages containing links, promotional content, or the same message going to many people at a high rate from one number. When this happens, the block automatically rents a replacement number from the same area code.

FAQs
Can I use the Adaptive Texting Block to text US contacts?
No. For US messaging, register for 10DLC or use a Toll-Free number.
What happens when one of my numbers gets flagged as spam?
The block detects the filtered number and automatically rents a new one from the same area code, so your campaign continues without a drop in outreach.
How do I increase my outreach rate?
Rent more numbers. Your total rate is the sum of each number's messages-per-hour rate — e.g., two numbers at 3,600/hour each = 7,200 messages/hour.
