Setting up 10DLC on CallHub involves a few separate fees: a one-time brand charge, a quarterly charge per use case, and extras for political senders. This article lists every charge, when it's billed, and what happens if a registration fails.
ⓘ Amounts can change. These fees are set by the registry, carriers, and their partners, and they get updated from time to time. If your dashboard shows a different amount at checkout, the dashboard is current.

Brand charges
Non-political brands pay $44 when submitting the brand: $4 for registration and $40 for vetting. After a successful registration, CallHub adds the $44 back to your account as credits, so the net cost of a successful brand registration is covered.
If the brand registration fails, the $4 registration fee is kept and the $40 vetting portion is returned to your CallHub wallet as credits.
Political brands pay $4.50 for brand registration instead.
⚠ Registering a political brand? Skip dashboard vetting. Do not submit a political brand for standard vetting from the CallHub dashboard. Political identity verification happens through Campaign Verify (see below), and the standard $40 vetting does not apply.
Use case (campaign) charges
Every use case you register costs $30 per quarter, plus a one-time $15 vetting fee when you submit it.
⚠ The $15 vetting fee is non-refundable, whatever the outcome. It applies per submission, not per approval. If your use case is rejected and you resubmit with corrections, that's a second submission and a second $15 fee. There's also no refund of the campaign charge for an unsuccessful registration, so review your details carefully before submitting. Avoiding Common Registration Mistakes covers the usual reasons for rejection.
✓ Keep at least $30 in credits at renewal. Your use case renews every quarter, and the $30 charge is drawn from your account balance. If the balance can't cover it, your registration is at risk and use-case will be deactivated, so top up before the renewal date.
Political Use-cases - Campaign Verify
Political use cases are verified by Campaign Verify, a separate entity from the registry. Each candidate registration on campaignverify.org costs $95. Once verified, you'll receive a token to submit during your use case registration on CallHub. See Campaign Verify for the full walkthrough.
Number rent
To send from your approved use case, you need a rented number, billed at $2 per month per number.
FAQs
Do I get my money back if my brand registration fails?
Partly. The $40 vetting portion returns to your wallet as credits; the $4 registration fee is kept.
My use case was rejected. Do I pay again to resubmit?
Yes. Each submission carries the $15 vetting fee, so a rejection followed by an approved resubmission costs $15 twice.
Do political brands pay the $40 vetting fee?
No. Political brands pay $4.50 for brand registration and verify through Campaign Verify ($95 per candidate registration) instead of standard vetting.
Are there charges for sending without registering?
Carriers apply surcharges and filtering to unregistered traffic. See 10DLC Sending limits, Carrier penalties, and Compliance for those details.
