To complete the Webhook setup from CallHub to ActBlue, you will need the following -
A CallHub account with Admin access
An ActBlue admin account
Permissions to create webhooks in ActBlue
🔗 Steps to set up the Webhook URL
To connect ActBlue to CallHub, log in to your CallHub dashboard and navigate to Integrations → ActBlue. From there, click Connect or Generate Webhook URL to create your unique integration endpoint.Â
Once generated, copy the Webhook URL—this will be used in ActBlue to enable automatic syncing of contribution data into CallHub. The Webhook URL will look like the following.
https://api.callhub.io/actblue/webhook/XXXXXX
In your ActBlue admin panel (secure.actblue.com/admin), navigate to Tools → Webhooks and click Create Webhook.Â
Next, paste the Webhook URL you generated from CallHub, then select the event types you want ActBlue to send—such as New Contribution Received, Recurring Contribution Started, Recurring Cancelled, and Refunded Contribution.Â
Once you've chosen the relevant events, save the webhook to activate the integration.
Once the integration is activated, navigate back to CallHub, Integrations → ActBlue → Settings, and map the relevant ActBlue fields to CallHub custom fields.Â
Next, you can just navigate to Activity to test whether the connection is working as expected. You should be able to view the Donation Activity if the connection is established.Â
