Want to stop receiving ActBlue donations in CallHub, or retire a Contact Import connection you no longer use? Here is how to remove either one from your ActBlue connections list. This article is for CallHub users who manage the ActBlue integration.
Your ActBlue integration can have two kinds of connections: a donation webhook that receives donation data from ActBlue, and a Contacts import connection that fetches donor lists. Deleting the one you no longer need keeps your list of connections accurate, and it stops that connection from bringing ActBlue data into your account. Each connection is separate, so you can delete one and keep the other.
Before you start
- You need access to Integrations in your CallHub account.
- Know which connection you want to remove. The Your connections list labels them Donation webhook and Contacts import.
- Deleting takes about 2 minutes.
⚠ Deleting the donation webhook stops CallHub from receiving donation data from ActBlue. Why: the webhook is the link that carries each contribution into your account, and removing it ends that flow.
⚠ Deleting a Contacts import connection stops CallHub from fetching donor data through that connection. Why: the connection holds your ActBlue credentials, and removing it ends future imports through it.
Open your ActBlue connections
- In the left panel, click Integrations.
- On the ActBlue integration card, click View connections. View connections lists every ActBlue connection on your account.
Delete the donation webhook
- In the Your connections list, find the entry described as Donation webhook.
- Click the three-dot menu next to it under Actions, then select Delete (or Remove webhook).
- In the Delete webhook dialog, click Delete. Confirm the deletion in the Delete webhook dialog.
Delete a Contacts import connection
- In the Your connections list, find the entry described as Contacts import.
-
Click the three-dot menu next to it under Actions, then select Delete (or Remove import).
-
In the Delete Import dialog, click Delete. Confirm the deletion in the Delete Import dialog.
Notes & limits
ⓘ The webhook and the import connection are separate entries, so deleting one does not delete the other.
✓ To start receiving ActBlue data again later, set up a new connection. See Sync ActBlue donations to CallHub with a webhook or Import ActBlue donor lists into CallHub.
