It has been observed that call pickups increase when contacts receive calls from specifically targeted area codes, as demonstrated in past campaigns. However, it is understandable that procuring numbers from the primary targeted area code may sometimes pose challenges.
In such cases, secondary area codes are preferred. The likelihood of numbers being unavailable from the primary targeted area code is high, particularly during peak election seasons when other organizations, even those outside of CallHub, will also be attempting to rent numbers from these targeted area codes.
Furthermore, proactive number rotation with the Dynamic Caller ID, wherein numbers are replaced before being flagged as spam, will necessitate the procurement of a substantial quantity of numbers.
The current setup for Proactive number rotation lacks the flexibility to allow users to choose how they would like to conduct their outreach in terms of number selection and ensuring the cleanliness of their caller ID health.
To simplify this further, we introduced a swapping series with the Spam Shield for both Call Center campaigns. This feature will be activated only by enabling Spam Label Shield on Call Center campaigns.
By strategically choosing area codes to rent numbers and maintaining the health of their caller ID, you can improve the answer rate of your campaigns. Individuals are more inclined to answer calls from familiar and trusted area codes, particularly when the caller ID doesn’t display "spam likely" warnings.
To use swapping series in a Call Center campaign using Spam Shield, you need to enable Spam Label Shield on your campaign. Next, choose the "+ Create a series" button to create a series of area codes based on priority.
By doing so, the system will rent the numbers from the area code marked with 1st priority, and if numbers are not available with that area code, the system will rent numbers from the area code added as 2nd priority, and so on.
The series set up in the campaign can then be used in other campaigns based on the availability of the numbers. All the series you have set up on your account can be found and managed from the "Numbers" section.
When a particular area code is not available in the proactive series selected by the user, then the logic below will be used to determine the number rental process.
- Use existing numbers in another proactive series belonging to the 1st priority area code
- Use Existing numbers from the 1st priority area code present in the cool-off bucket
- Use existing numbers from the 2nd priority area code present in another proactive series
- Use existing numbers from the 2nd priority area code present in the cool-off bucket and so on
- Once we run through all the existing numbers available in all priority area codes (existing cool-off bucket or existing proactive series), we will rent numbers from the highest priority area code.
