Want to call and text your Raiser's Edge NXT constituents without handling data by hand? Pick a constituent list in CallHub and it arrives as a new contact list, ready for your campaigns. This article is for campaign managers who have already connected Raiser's Edge NXT.
You make outreach smarter and faster. Each imported constituent list becomes a CallHub contact list you can use in your calling and texting campaigns.
You save time and avoid errors. The integration replaces manual data handling, whether you are moving a large list of constituents or updating existing records.
You respect consent automatically. CallHub reads each constituent's consent in Raiser's Edge NXT and sets Do Not Call (DNC) or Do Not Text (DNT) for you.
You keep campaign data connected. Contacts that carry their Constituent ID can have campaign data synced back to Raiser's Edge NXT.
Before you start
- Connect Raiser's Edge NXT to CallHub first.
- You need a CallHub account with permission to manage integrations.
- Choosing and importing a list takes about 5 minutes.
⚠ CallHub does not import constituents who opted out of both channels. If a constituent's Phone consent and SMS consent are both Opt-out in Raiser's Edge NXT, they are not imported. If either one is Opt-in, they are imported and CallHub sets the relevant DNC or DNT flag. Why: CallHub reads each constituent's Consent in Raiser's Edge NXT so that your outreach respects their preferences.
Import a constituent list
-
In CallHub, go to Integrations > Raiser's Edge NXT > Import. Open the Import page from the Raiser's Edge NXT integration.
- Click the text box and choose the constituent list you want to import from the dropdown. Choose the constituent list you want in CallHub.
-
If you added lists in Raiser's Edge NXT after you connected it to CallHub, click Refresh to fetch the latest constituent lists.
Import manually if your import fails
If you import a lot of contacts at a high rate, rate limiting can make the import fail. When that happens, the safest option is to import the contacts manually.
- Export the list from Raiser's Edge NXT as a CSV file. Make sure the file has a column with the header Constituent ID.
- In CallHub, go to Contacts > Import Contacts.
- Choose the CSV file and click Continue to mapping.
- Map the fields as needed.
- Map the Constituent ID field to the corresponding field in CallHub.
⚠ Without the Constituent ID mapping, data from your CallHub campaigns will not sync to Raiser's Edge NXT. Why: CallHub has no contact information to match those contacts to Raiser's Edge NXT records.
