You need an API key to connect to NGPVAN from CallHub. If you don't already have it, here are the steps to follow for this integration setup.
Campaign managers should be able to connect to NGPVAN from CallHub using their Application Name and API Key. Application Name is the new required field to work with NGPVan API calls, so both fields are mandatory for a successful integration setup.
There are certain scenarios that you may encounter while working on this integration setup.
- You don't have the Application Name or NGPVan APIs key handy. You need to raise a support request with NGPVan developer support at APIDevelopers@ngpvan.com.
- VAN API doesn't have permission to allow data sync with CallHub. You need to raise a support request with NGPVan developer support at APIDevelopers@ngpvan.com to enable CallHub permissions on their API Keys.
- If you are an existing VAN user who would like to leverage the integration, you should be able to update the connection details with the NGPVan Application Name (we hope you would have API Key handy).
The new NGPVan integration works with both VAN products (NGPVan and EveryAction). Once you have the API key, you must navigate to "Integrations" to integrate NGPVAN with CallHub.
You may connect either in My Voter or My Campaign Mode. Also, please ensure you have "Saved Lists" on NGPVAN that can be imported to CallHub through the integration.
Once you have completed the integration process, you need to click on "Import" and import the CSV file you have exported from your NGPVAN instance. Post this, you need to map the fields as usual, and the contacts will be imported to your CallHub account.
In the below video, you can see how to integrate NGPVAN with CallHub.
