Custom fields in CallHub let you capture and store additional information about your contacts beyond the default fields. By adding and managing custom fields, you can tailor your campaigns, personalize conversations, and organize your data in a way that best fits your outreach strategy. This flexibility ensures your agents have the right information at the right time while maintaining data accuracy and campaign efficiency.
Access Custom Fields Settings
Navigate to your account's Settings page.
Click on the 'Custom Fields' tab.
Add a New Custom Field:
Click on the 'Add Custom Field' button.
Define the field name and select the field type (text, number, Boolean, Multi-Choice, Date).
Click 'Add' to save the new custom field
Field Types
| Field Type | Description | Use Case / Example |

Edit or Delete Custom Fields
To edit a field, click the 'Edit' icon next to the field name.
Note: Only the field name is editable.
To delete a field, select it from the table and click 'Delete' button.
Tip: If you are deleting an old field that is already part of a campaign, all data associated with that field will be permanently removed. Make sure to back up or export any important information before deleting the field to avoid losing critical campaign data.
Add Data to Custom Fields
While importing contacts via a CSV file, map the relevant columns to your custom fields during the CSV mapping process.
Alternatively, you can add or edit custom field data directly on the contact's page.
Configure Privacy Settings for Agents
You can choose what custom fields should be visible and editable to the agents while making calls or sending texts from the campaign.
Checked fields are displayed for each lead/contact - This option lets campaign manager choose what fields should be visible to the agents on the agent console.

Note: The editable field will be visible only if the campaign manager has enabled the display for default/custom field.
